It’s a dynamic combination: The rapid growth of sports’ popularity combined with necessary 21st century business,leadership and management skills. Grand Canyon University put these two facets together to create its own Master of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Sports Business Management degree. You’ll apply business concepts,critical thinking skills and an enhanced understanding of management within sports. The sports business management degree combines those skills,knowledge and Christian values and ethics while building networking skills and relationships fostered by College of Business namesake Jerry Colangelo. In turn,the sports business management program is designed to create future sports business leaders: chief executive officer,general manager,operations manager,sales,marketing and more. Students in this program are encouraged to be informed critical thinkers and decision makers through active research and the application of quantitative methods that transform raw data into useful information.
