Master of Arts in Military Operations - Military Leadership (Online)

Liberty University’s 100% online Master of Arts in Military Operations – Military Leadership degree combines in-depth study of military doctrine with an overview of military leadership. The goal of our master’s in military operations and military leadership is to develop ethical, knowledgeable professionals who are capable of succeeding in America’s defense sector. Subjects covered in this degree program include asymmetrical and irregular warfare, military operations, military logistics, and just war theory. In addition to these military doctrine courses, the leadership specialization features courses in command leadership, virtues of ethical leadership, leadership in context, and one leadership course of the student’s choosing. While a military background is not required for admission to this program, the degree is designed to help current and former members of the armed forces pursue management positions within the defense sector. Upon graduation from our M.A. in Military Operations – Military Leadership, students may pursue careers as military intelligence specialists, operations managers, training managers, and leadership instructors – although a Ph.D. may be required if you’re interested in teaching at a college or university.
