Master of Science in Forensic Psychology - General Forensic Psychology

National University’s Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in General Forensic Psychology helps prepare you to apply psychological principles in forensic settings, and equips you to work within the justice system with law enforcement, the courts, corrections, and departments of victim services. The program is not designed to lead toward licensure or certification, but will provide students with a broad overview of the field, and knowledge and understanding of human behavior as it is presented by individuals who are involved in the legal system, preparing you for a career in a diverse range of forensic psychology-oriented professions. Throughout the program you will learn to analyze theories and principles in psychology, explain usage of diagnostic and assessment tools, and examine diversity issues, evaluate ethical behavior, and synthesize research within forensic settings.
