Bachelor of Science in Computer Network Security and Forensics

The primary objective of the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Network Security and Forensics is to prepare students for security and forensics positions in the computer field through an understanding of defense and attack techniques and the ability to apply these techniques in the field. . This bachelor’s degree component of the college’s Computer Network Security and Forensics curriculum places increased focus on attack strategies and computer network vulnerability to those strategies. Areas of focus for student learning are tactical digital offense techniques, secure network analysis, digital forensics, penetration testing and project management. A graduate of this program will be prepared to work in a technical environment, detect vulnerabilities in computer networks, and test new software vulnerability to attack. Graduates will be prepared for employment as IT security consultants, computer forensic examiners, pen testers, IT security auditors, security managers, and network analysts/engineers, and many other technically challenging careers.
